Ensuring Your Academic Success
To ensure academic success, we highly recommend these activities:
- 上课. Students who attend class and engage with the instructor are more likely to succeed in their coursework.
- For each credit you are taking, study a minimum of 2 hours every week. (例如, if you are in 15 credits, you should spend at least 30 hours each week on homework, 复习笔记, 等.) You should make use of 辅导 and other campus resources during your study time.
- 与你的导师见面 在一贯的基础上. Your advisor is listed on your 学位审核 在你的MyUI中 找一个顾问 对于任何专业. You should also learn to use the “What If” feature in your 学位审核 to view your progress toward 任何 主修或辅修.
- Read your Vandal Email daily to stay informed and learn about important opportunities.
- 参与 课外活动. 我们有很多 俱乐部和组织 that cater to the interests of science students.
