威廉 隆德 is a professor of Political Science. His areas of research interest are history of political theory (esp. 霍布斯) and contemporary liberalism and its libertarian and communitarian critics.

隆德 joined the department in 1988 as an assistant professor. He was tenured and promoted to associate professor in 1993, and promoted to full professor in 2000. His research interests are mainly in the fields of contemporary political philosophy and the history of European and American political thought, with a secondary interest in contemporary American political parties and economic policy.
