Courageous Kids Scholarship
History of Courageous Kids Climbing
Courageous Kids Climbing was organized in Valley County, Idaho, in March of 2014. 拉里Morten, owner of the Cascade Climbing Gym, 和杰夫·里奇曼, a rock-climbing enthusiast, gave birth to the concept while discussing ways in which climbers could give back to the community. Their concept was simple: provide an opportunity for children with special needs to learn how to rock climb and organize the events so that there would be no charge to the children or their families.
Jeff is a retired firefighter from California who lost his hearing due to his position with the fire department. This personal experience fuels his commitment to supporting and recognizing the accomplishments of students with learning challenges.
