数学ematics Minor
A minor in mathematics can help build stronger credentials for employment and improve your opportunities to attend graduate school. A mathematics minor can be added to any degree program and requires just eight courses (26 credits) to complete. Computer Science, 物理, and most Engineering majors can qualify for this minor by taking one to three extra courses.

Statistics Minor
Knowledge of statistical methods and theory has become increasingly important to students in many disciplines such as the life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, 工程, 和业务. As more and more data are collected, stored and analyzed, students are finding it increasingly beneficial to gain expertise in statistics to bolster their research skills and enhance their career opportunities.
To help prepare such students the Department of 数学ematics and Statistical Science offers a 22 credit undergraduate minor for non-majors who take a significant number of courses in Statistics. Coursework for the degree exposes students to statistical computation, theory of mathematical statistics, and many common techniques of statistical analysis.
