About

The Employee Engagement Committee serves as a resource, advocate and representative for staff employees of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The committee identifies staff needs, provides information and advice in response to those needs, and provides recommendations to college leadership that benefit staff and assist in accomplishing the mission of the University of Idaho.

The committee will work to foster staff relationships, optimize job and workplace satisfaction and recognize the great work of our employees in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The purpose of the Employee Engagement Committee is to facilitate networking, exchange ideas and suggest ways to enhance staff satisfaction and work effectiveness. The committee will:

  • Advocate for recognition, engagement and mentorship with staff to create a professional, collegiate environment and work experience.
  • Seek suggestions for the improvement of the general welfare and topics of importance to staff.
  • Become more involved in the college and in the communities we serve.

We envision an organization composed of dedicated leaders and employees who are committed to organizational success and job satisfaction by promoting engagement from within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
